The Pumpkin Garden – Pumpkin Patch in Pignataro Maggiore
The first Italian Pumpkin Patch, now in its sixth edition, is located in Pignataro Maggiore, in the province of Caserta. From September 22 to November 3, 2024 (excluding some Wednesdays), the Pumpkin Garden welcomes visitors of all ages in an area of 2 hectares, characterized by order and breathtaking scenery that evokes the typical American pumpkin fields.
In addition to pumpkin picking, we find creative and carving workshops, opportunities to learn about the life cycle of the pumpkin and American culture. This year there is also a Haunted Corn Maze, suggested for visitors ages 12 and up. Online booking is mandatory.
The entrance ticket costs 19.99 euros and includes access to the Garden, a pumpkin of your choice, participation in a workshop and a visit to the Family’s Farm. The Corn Labyrinth has an additional cost of 20 euros and visits take place in the evening. Children under one meter tall enter for free but do not receive a pumpkin or participate in the workshops. Pumpkin Farm in Sacrofano (Rome)
In Sacrofano – Prima Porta, not far from Rome, we find the Fattoria della Zucca, an American-style Pumpkin Patch. Here, adults and children can choose their own Halloween pumpkin, take part in workshops on painting, carving and creating autumn decorations, have fun outdoors with free games, meet the farm animals and enjoy a snack in the food area, with lots of of Pumpkin Spice Latte. The event is open every weekend from September 22nd to November 3rd 2024.

The Toce Farm in Verbania
In the province of Verbania, Fattoria del Toce organizes a series of days entirely dedicated to pumpkins, with activities ranging from harvesting to decoration. Children will be able to participate in creative workshops, such as “Create a Halloween Spider” and “Pumpkin Lanterns”, as well as have fun with games such as the scary maze and the pumpkin market. For animal lovers, there will also be the possibility of taking a pony ride or visiting the farm animals.
The dates to mark on the calendar are 19, 20, 26 and 27 October, as well as 1, 2 and 3 November 2024. Entrance prices are 8 euros for adults and 7 euros for children aged 3 to 13 years old.

Tulipania pumpkins in Bergamo
Near Terno d’Isola, in the province of Bergamo, the Tulipania farm transforms into a pumpkin field in autumn. Known for its tulips in the spring, the company offers many pumpkin-related activities during the fall. These include the corn maze, creative workshops and the chance to pick your favorite pumpkin. Entrance to the camp is free, but the purchase of products is required to support the initiative.

The Pumpkin Village in Ornavasso (Verbania)
In the municipality of Ornavasso, in the province of Verbania, we find one of the most beautiful pumpkin fields ever. On the weekends of 21-22 September and 6-7 October 2024, the Pumpkin Village will take place, an event full of activities for the whole family. Children will be able to have fun in the themed houses, jump on a gigantic 100 square meter pumpkin and participate in games dedicated to autumn fruits. Parents, meanwhile, will have the opportunity to enjoy pumpkin risotto, attend meetings with experts such as mycologists and dieticians, and visit an exhibition with over 100 species of mushrooms.
The entrance is divided into shifts to ensure better management of visitor flows. The cost of the ticket is 13.90 euros for children up to 12 years old, while for adults it is 15.90 euros, including a pumpkin risotto tasting. A peculiarity of this event is the possibility of receiving a free photographic print of your family inside the village.

The Pumpkin Patch in Galbiate (Lecco)
In the municipality of Galbiate, in the province of Lecco, another tulip field is transformed into a Pumpkin Patch. Open from 13 September to 3 November 2024, it gives visitors the opportunity to pick their own pumpkin and take part in decoration workshops. The cost of entry varies depending on the day of the week: from Monday to Thursday, the ticket costs 3 euros, with a discount equal to the amount for the purchase of pumpkins, while on weekends the price rises to 5 euros. The Garden of Colors in Pesaro
The Giardino dei Colori in Vallefoglia, near Pesaro, also celebrates autumn with the “Pumpkin Harvest – Pumpkin Patch”, from 15 September to 3 November. The event is held every Friday from 2.30pm to 7.30pm and on weekends from 10am to 7.30pm. In addition to pumpkin picking, there will be carving workshops, shows, games and many Halloween-themed surprises. Special events take place on Saturdays and Sundays, but are subject to change without notice.

Federica’s Camp in Nerviano (Milan)
Near Nerviano, in the province of Milan, Federica’s Camp welcomes visitors who want to immerse themselves in the autumn atmosphere and choose their favorite pumpkin. In addition to harvesting, the camp offers carving and painting workshops, ideal for creating Halloween decorations or beautifying your home. Agricola delle Meraviglie by Steflor in Vimodrone (Milan)
On the outskirts of Milan, Agricola delle Meraviglie by Steflor offers a large pumpkin market, in perfect American Pumpkin Patch style. The camp is surrounded by zinnia flowers and sunflowers, and offers several activities, including a haunted maze and several creative workshops. Entrance costs 5 euros and includes the purchase of an ornamental pumpkin. The camp is open from mid-September, Monday to Friday, from 4pm to 7pm, and on weekends from 10am to 7pm. Other pumpkin fields in Italy
Throughout Italy, there are many other pumpkin patches that offer similar experiences. In Pavia, Puravida Farm is organizing an event called “The Village of Pumpkins”, which will be held from 14 September to 10 November 2024. The event, now in its fourth edition, includes decoration workshops, games for children and a local products.
In the city of Treviso, the Nonno Andrea Agricultural Company is hosting the Pumpkin Village from 20 September 2024. Entrance is free and does not require reservation, and in addition to pumpkin picking, visitors can participate in live shows and workshops.
Finally, in Ferrara, Parco Massari is transformed into the “Pumpkin Park” on the occasion of Ferrara in Fiaba, with activities dedicated to the little ones, such as pumpkin hunting and carving workshops.
