The world’s first Harry Potter-themed hotel is about to open (and LEGO fans will love it too)

In 2026, Germany will become one of the most popular destinations for magic enthusiasts. In Bavaria, precisely in Günzburg, the first entirely Harry Potter themed hotel ever built will open. The project will be born within the LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort and represents an absolute novelty in the panorama of European experiential tourism. It will not just be a decorated accommodation, but a truly immersive experience designed to make guests feel part of a fantastic world, among iconic settings and attention to detail.

A collaboration between big brands

Behind the project is a high-profile partnership between Merlin Entertainments and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, two names already known for creating successful attractions internationally. The idea is to merge the narrative universe of Harry Potter with the creative style of LEGO bricks, giving life to an original concept that combines fantasy, play and design. In addition to the hotel, the expansion also includes a new thematic area of the park, built entirely in LEGO style and dedicated to the world of wizards.

Hogwarts-inspired rooms and immersive spaces

The hotel rooms will be designed to recall the most beloved atmospheres of the saga, with clear references to Hogwarts, the four houses, magical symbols and iconic objects. The common spaces will also contribute to creating a coherent narrative path, transforming the stay into a continuous experience, not limited to the park’s attractions. The goal is to allow guests to “experience” the magic, sleeping and moving in environments that evoke the fantasy world, while maintaining the comfort of a modern structure.

Entrance fees and tickets

According to the first available information, the price of entry to the thematic area should vary between 45 and 65 euros, depending on the period and the options chosen. The costs of the hotel stay will then be added to this figure, which will be communicated later.
