New food recalls relating to ready-made sauces and ragouts sold in supermarkets. Some recall notices have appeared on the Ministry of Health website regarding various plant-based products due to the possible presence of foreign bodies in glass jars.
Products recalled from supermarkets
A first recall, ordered as a precaution by the same company, refers to the organic vegetable ragù under the Biotrevisan brand and produced by Cereal Terra, sold in 190 gram packs, with production batch 040328 and expiry date 03-04-2028.
Also recalled, again as a precaution, is the Bertagni brand vegan Bolognese sauce with vegetables, produced by Fattorie Umbre srl and sold in 285 gram glass jars. The production batch is S051E, while the expiry date shown is 08-20-2028.
Finally, a third recall concerns the Arrighi brand veg Bolognese sauce produced by Fattorie Umbre srl, sold in 320 gram jars with lot S057F and expiry 26 February 2029.
If you have purchased one of these products, do not consume them and return them to the point of sale for a refund.
