A group of students from the National Agricultural University La Molina (Unalm) has created an innovative product that aims to revolutionize the natural drinks market. It is de Aromatica 100% natural drink, free of artificial preservatives and additivesmade with essential oils extracted from Peruvian herbs.

This unique drink of its kind not only responds to the growing request for healthy alternatives, but stands out for its properties aromatic, relaxing and beneficial. Stephany López Sarmiento, one of the creators of the project, explained that the idea was to develop a drink that was natural and healthy, designed for those consumers who seek products without artificial ingredients.

Thanks to the use of essential oils, this soda not only offers a unique flavor, but incorporates bioactive property who bring medicinal benefits, as underlined by Lesly Ruth Baldeón Carlos, another team member, promising an experience that relaxes and, at the same time, refreshes.

The herbs cultivated by the rural women of Peru have been enhanced

The project came to life within the Filemica Fitochimica Laboratory of the UNALM Department of Faculty, under the guidance of Professor Fermoín Arévalo. Arévalo praised the commitment and dedication of the studentsunderlining how their passion, determination and enthusiasm were fundamental for the success of the initiative.

Maylen Izquierdo Cochachin, another member of the group, highlighted the importance of the process of Herbal selectionwhich enhances the varieties cultivated by the rural women of Peru. The drink, packaged in 350 ml bottles, has already received Positive feedback During the first tastings and the team is working on an expansion strategy through business incubators.
