The World Environment Day 2025 has now passed but the countryside, designed to celebrate the important day by the Indian agency The Minal Thinking, continues to be talked about.
The protagonists are the eyes of several animals that fix us intensely. What is striking is that, in their pupils, shocking scenes are reflected: plastic that invades the oceans, on fire forests, terrains submerged by cement, hunters with the pointed rifle.
Each image is accompanied by the claim “What they See, what we ignore”, an invitation to look at the world through the eyes of animals and understand the reality that are forced to live because of our actions. This reversal of the gaze forces us to deal with the consequences of our choices and at the same time reminds us that we are all in danger.
