According to the forecasts of Alessio Colella, meteorologist at Meteored Italia, the front that crossed the Peninsula in the last few hours is rapidly deflating, with the last remnants confined to the South. The subtropical anticyclone will arrive for the weekend of April 25th – and with it temperatures that will reach 27°C in the North.

Friday 24: it also improves in the South

Already on Friday the improvement will be generalized: sun on Sicily and Calabria, the last areas still affected by the bad weather. In the North, maximum temperatures will locally reach 24-25°C, especially in the Centre-West; in the South the values ​​will still remain below average due to the mistral, which persists on the Adriatic side.

Saturday 25 April: the best day

It’s the most stable day of the weekend. Sun prevails throughout Italy, with some afternoon clouds over the Alps and Apennines destined to dissolve without bringing rain. Temperatures rise everywhere: in the North peaks between 25 and 27°C, in the South and on the Islands values ​​between 23 and 25°C on the Tyrrhenian side, slightly less on the Adriatic.

Sunday 26th: increasing heat, with some clouds

The picture remains stable, especially in the South, where maximum temperatures will reach 23-25°C. However, clouds are gathering in the western sectors, with possible showers located between
