There are a few days left to Easter and, like every year, chocolate egg hunt is an unmissable appointment, especially when it comes to the famous Kinder eggs. In these days, social networks and in particular Tiktok, are invaded by theories and “tricks” to discover in advance what surprise is hiding within the packaging, but how much truth is behind these tactics to easily find our favorite surprise?
Let’s start with one of the last theories that we have recently noticed: some users suggest that the name of the character that we will find inside, for example “Harry” on the package of Kinder eggs. The truth, however, is different: what is written on the package has nothing to do with the character hidden inside. That written refers only to the theme of eggsin this case those of Harry Potter, and therefore does not reveal any surprise.

Another theory that has made a lot of talk about himself is that of the numbers. It seems that the numbers 1, 2 and 3 appear on each egg and that, if we choose two eggs with the same number, we will find exactly the same surprise inside them. It is said that last year this “trick” really worked, but those who tried this year was disappointed. There is no guarantee that, for example, two eggs with the number 2 actually contain the same surprise.
Finally, one of the most popular tricks is to weigh the egg to try to guess the surprise. This method is based on the comparison of the weight of the eggs, to understand if there is a lighter or heavier one, and thus deduct what could be inside. In the end, however, the only safe way to find out what’s inside the Easter egg you have purchased is … open it!
