Spot & Tango, a brand of well -based wellness products based in Midtown Manhattan, is looking for an intern to help “evaluate” the breath of dogs while studying the effectiveness of her new “dental solution” for the four -legged.
Spot & Tango claims to have developed a “revolutionary” solution for the smelly canine breath.
“Help us to make New York better perfume, one dog at a time,” says the work announcement, also published on LinkedIn
The summer internship, paid 25 dollars per hour, will also compensate for anyone assumed with “unlimited kisses of puppies”.
The requirements include
“A nose that can also detect the lighter hint of bad smell”, to help them “bring dog oral hygiene to a higher level”.
Spot & Tango was founded in 2017 by Russell Breuer as a Direct-to-Consumer company focused on food for fresh, healthy and sustainable dogs.
The announcement suggests that a refined flair that allows you to “detect the advanced garlic pasta of your roommate even when the refrigerator is closed” could bring the candidates to the top of the list.

The requirements
The perfect candidate must be
“Brave, daring and curious (literally) to approach and familiarize yourself with the best dogs in New York”. The supreme annusor should be brutally honest, according to the company.
And the ideal candidate will have no problems
“Responsible for the management of respiratory tests in dogs for dogs, the creation of a funk-o-meter evaluation parameter and the execution of competitive analyzes” in real time.
The employee will have to “keep very detailed olfactory notes (e.g. ‘a hint of tuna? Eau de garbage? Pleasantly neutral?’)”
The experience in canine behavior, in veterinary technology or in the welfare of pets is an advantage, but not a requirement.
And boasts “unlimited cuddles with dogs” as one of its best advantages.

It might seem like a terrible way to earn, but it could be worse. You may be a larvae trainer. A decapitrator of laboratory mice. Or an Afghan travel agent.
These are just some of the occupations listed in the book “50 worst works of yours”, published by Bloomsbury and written by Justin Racz, a former temporary employee, hummus seller and J. Crew parodist.
He has drawn up what he considers the ranking of the 10 worst works in the city. At number 1: the divers of the NYPD bodies recovery unit, who seek decaying corpses in the East River and in other water bodies.
Killing mice (number 5) is another work not suitable for weak stomach.
Note
The bad breath in dogs is not simply a discomfort to be covered, but an important health indicator. It is often a symptom of dental problems such as plaque, tartar or gingivitis, but it can also report more serious disorders such as digestive problems, kidney diseases or diabetes. Correct dog oral hygiene and regular veterinary controls are essential not only to eliminate the unpleasant smell, but above all to ensure the overall well -being of your four -legged friend.
