The important recognition of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) rewards not only the extraordinary beauty of the crystal clear sea of the island, but also the excellence of the services offered, attention to the environment, the sustainable policies adopted by coastal municipalities and the virtuous management of waste.
This year Sardinia celebrates the new entry of The surrounding of San Teodorowhile no location has lost recognition compared to the previous year, a sign of a constant commitment in environmental protection and in the quality of the tourist offer. However, the national primacy remains at Liguria, which with its 32 flags confirms the most awarded Italian region.
The rewarded locations: the North Sardinia triumphs
