Vases can arise from many recovery objects, and cups and cups are no exception. It is not worth using those still intact and in good condition, but if you have some ruined or with some mouths, you can transform them into a few moves.
The idea is simple but scenographic: just clean the cup well, fill it with soil and insert a fatty seedling or a small flower, possibly adding a little gravel. The fatty plants are perfect for this type of container because they require little water and therefore there is no risk that the plant rot for stagnation, given that the cups have no holes for drainage.
As for the choice of cups and cups, it mainly depends on your tastes, but also on the style and atmosphere of the room where you want to place the jars. If you have a more elegant environment, you could opt for vintage or porcelain cups, while in a more modern or rustic space, more essential, white or colorful cups. In any case, we suggest you play with the shapes and colors to create a contrast that attracts attention or, on the contrary, a more harmonious and discreet look.
The cups with flowers can also be placed on the window sill or on the terrace.
But you can also create scenographic mini-installations like the one you see below.
If you want to create a corner that recall Alice’s fairytale atmosphere in Wonderland, you can indulge yourself even more. For example, you could bring the cups down from a support branch, binding them with string, and alternating them with some teapot.
