Hearts are a very welcome decorative element and can be made with many different materials, both natural and recycled. From the twigs to the berries, from the aromatic herbs to the actual grass, here is a selection of DIY hearts one more beautiful and romantic than the other.
Heart with twigs and herbs
Everything you need to make this romantic decorative heart are flexible twigs and aromatic herbsstarting from the fragrant rosemary.
Heart of grass
Another simple and poetic idea consists in making a heart by intertwining long grass stems. Two bunches of stems of the same length will be enough: each intertwined in a soft braid. Once ready, curve the two braids to form half of the heart and add them gently by binding them with other wires of grass in the center and at the base.
Heart of Edera
The ivy is perfect for creating romantic decorative hearts: its flexible twigs are easily intertwined and the leaves, with their delicate shape, remember small hearts. To make this garland, weave the tweer twigs forming two half hearts, then add them to each other with a thin string. You can complete the decoration by adding a nice bow in natural fabric and hang the heart where you prefer: on a door, a wall or even on a branch in the garden.
Heart of moss
Do you like musk? With its soft and natural appearance, it is perfect for creating a heart with a wooded and enchanted effect.
Heart of cardboard and twigs
The recycled cardboard is also useful to create a decorative heart: just draw the shape of the heart and cut it out with scissors, then cover it with custom -cut twigs. To fix them on the cardboard you can use hot glue.
Heart with berries
Finally why not give life to a beautiful heart of berries? Recover several, put them in a heart of iron or in a grumpy grops in the shape of a heart.
