From the 20 to 29 June 2025Quartu Sant’Elena turns into a crossroads of emotions, encounters and reflections with A.SI.Biri – Ethical and Sustainable Tourism Festivala cultural review that focuses on the deep relationship between traveler and territory. Ten days, Over 40 eventsone guiding thread: the desire to rediscover the essence of the journey as an authentic, conscious and respectful experience.
Organized byTourist Association of Quartu Sant’Elenawith the patronage of Common and the support of the Foundation of Sardiniathe festival involves the entire community in a rich and multifaceted calendar: public meetings, excursions, theatrical performances, creative workshops, concerts, book presentations and tastings, all designed to enhance local traditions, crafts, biodiversity and ancient knowledge.
The very name of the event, A.SI.Biri – Sardinian expression which means “see you” – is an invitation to meet and exchange, a wish for return and reciprocity. The traveler, here, is not a simple tourist, but a conscious guest, called to grasp the slow gestures of the earth, the tales handed down by voice, the silent poetry of the landscapes that open between the sea and the countryside.
The beating heart of the Festival will be the Historic Center of Quartuwhich will host events widespread in its squares, in the courtyards, between the shops and the cultural spaces. Among the most felt themes, the promotion of slow paths, experiential tourism, sustainable agriculture, circular economy and commitment to environmental justice. Particular attention will be paid to the involvement of schools, local associations and new generations, to transmit values of care, dialogue and responsibility.
