This artist creates spectacular paper clippings inspired by the world of microorganisms, making the invisible visible

Is called Rogan Brown the artist who Transform the paper into an extraordinary imitation of the invisible world of microorganisms. Each of his work was born from a simple white sheet, which Rogan carved by hand (and laser) with extreme patience and an almost surgical minUTIA, giving life to complex, ethereal and incredibly detailed structures. In this way, the invisible becomes art.

Rogan says he arrived at the card after experiencing numerous materials. It was its ambivalent nature that conquered it: fragile and delicate, but also surprisingly resistant and durable. A choice that becomes an integral part of the message of the work.

The exclusive use of white is also not accidental. As explained by the artist, white gives creations a spectral, abstract quality, which intensifies the plays of light and shadow and contributes to making the forms suspended, almost alive.

We just have to admire his paper masterpieces starting from “Cut Stem Mandala”, a work inspired by the groups of parenchyma cells, collenchima and sclerenchima that make up the physical structure of the plants.
