The old jeans are one of those that things that lends itself particularly well to creative recycling, but what the Korean realizes Choi So Young is truly unique. With scales of consumed denim and discarded acrylic paint, it creates spectacular urban landscapes, taking care of every detail with great precision.

Its process includes the yellowing of materials, the addition of plates, faded labels, hinges and pocket linings, and the use of bleach to obtain suggestive spots. From these elements they take shape telephone poles, skies, highways and buildings, composing cities full of details and realism.
Choi So Young formed himself at the Dong Eui University of Busan, South Korea, and today it is recognized internationally, with participations in prestigious fairs such as Art Miami Basel and Art Chicago.
