2000 animals still prisoners in our country

In our country There are still about 2,000 animals exploited in the circusesincluding elephants, lions, tigers, bears, horses and monkeys. Despite being sentient beings, they are forced to perform unnatural acrobatics to entertain the public, in contexts that do not respect their physiological and psychological needs.

The conditions in which they live are to say the least inhuman: the animals are confined in narrow cages, without the possibility of moving freely, and often they are forced to travel for long distances in precarious conditions. Many countries of the world have said this barbarism, but Italy continues to postpone the ban on the circuses. The stop to this practice was expected for this summerbut is slipped (for the third time!) In December 2026.
