Roth, former CEO of a technological consultancy firm, purchased the island in 2017 after selling his company. The initial idea was simple: to find a secluded place to detach from the world. But soon he evolved into something bigger. How Supershe Island worked

Developed on about 8.4 acres of wild nature, the island has been equipped with four eco-cabines in wood, one Finnish sauna, yurt for group activities and common spaces for moments of sharing. The stay was reserved for a few selected participants, chosen through a presentation form on the Supershe Network website, one international community with over 8,000 members. The philosophy was clear: not a “club for privileged”, but a global network of women ready to share experiences, energy and inspirations, in a context free from external conditioning.

Since its opening, Supershe Island has attracted the attention of the international media. Despite the change of ownership, however, the policy remained unchanged: Men can only access maintenance or in exceptional cases, but cannot stay.
