One morning as many turned into a surreal moment in Palermo, when three pigs fell (or perhaps voluntarily fled) from a truck in transit on Viale Region Siciliana. Frightened and confused, the animals broke into the regional training department, arousing reactions between the amazed and the amused in those present.

The pigs entered the main door of the building, welcomed by incredulous glances of goalkeepers and salespeople. Despite the attempts to block them, the small pigs have slipped into the corridors of the Department, escaping with skill to those who tried to catch them. Some employees tried in vain to stop them, while others filmed the scene, already become social material.

Fearing that the escape took a bad turn, the internal doors were closed to prevent the pigs from climbing the upper floors. In the meantime, the chaos continued on the ground floor, between the desks and the folders. No damage, but a lot of confusion.

The recovery between cars and gate

After a few minutes of chase, the three protagonists of the day found the way out of the main gate. There, their race continued among the parked cars, forcing employees to a short but intense “porcell hunt”. In the end the animals were returned to the conveyor, who had noticed too late about their escape.

The scene has torn more than a smile. No injuries, only so much amazement and a story that will enter the corridors of the Department as an official anecdote. However, we cannot fail to ask ourselves what the end of these poor animals will be who just for a few minutes had tasted the way of freedom, albeit a city. For the moment on their future everything is silent, but it is not difficult to imagine that their destination is the slaughterhouse.
