An episode of clear intimidation hit the entrepreneur of the Tremiti islands, Angelica Attanasio, owner of the company La Riccia srl. Five inflatable boats used for tourist tours were deliberatedly damaged: three were moored in the channel between the Cretaccio and the island of San Nicola, while two were in Cala delle Arenne. The dynamics of the facts, combined with previous signals such as anomalous fireworks near his home and dead fish found on boats, confirms the premeditated nature and mafia -like of the attack.
Immediately after the discovery, Angelica proceeded to secure the vehicles and filed a complaint at the San Domino carabinieri station. The investigations are coordinated by the Public Prosecutor of Foggia, while the checks of the police continue, particularly present in this period of high tourist season. The young entrepreneur stressed that these gestures will not stop her and will continue to carry on her activity with determination.

Solidarity of the community
In the midst of so much crime, however, there is a light of hope. In fact, the episode shaken the entire Tremiti community, which immediately sided alongside Angelica. Families, friends and citizens have shown their closeness with messages of support and participating in a fundraiser launched to repair damaged inflatable inflatables.
