The appliance bonus is a contribution designed to encourage the replacement of old appliances with more efficient and sustainable models. Introduced by the Budget Law 2025 and modified by the Legislative Decree, it will be regulated by an implementation decree that will define rules, requirements and methods of access.
Initially scheduled for March, the launch was postponed due to the changes introduced by the bills and the times necessary to complete the implementation decree, currently in the final processing phase. Once published in the Official Gazette, the bonus will be operational and the voucher can be requested through a special computer platform.
According to what reported by Corriere della Serathe bonus should start in September, even if a precise date has not yet been set.

Instead, small appliances such as hairdryer, blenders or vacuum cleaner do not include. The implementation decree will however define a detailed list of admitted assets and the minimum energy class required.
2025 appliance bonus, who is up to
To finance the bonus, a fund of 50 million euros was established for 2025, at the Ministry of Companies and Made in Italy. The contribution covers up to 30% of the cost of a single appliance, with a maximum limit of 100 euros. It reaches 200 euros for families with ISEE less than 25,000 euros.

How to request it
The disbursement of the bonus will take place through a computer platform managed by Pagopa, while the checks and management of resources will be entrusted to Invitalia, according to conventions stipulated with the Ministry of Companies and Made in Italy.
At the moment, the implementing decree has yet to define:
The contribution will be recognized only at the same time as the purchase, replacing the previous “click day” system.
The voucher will be expiring
The bonus will have a temporal deadline, beyond which the voucher will no longer be spent. The consumer must request it via pagopa and deliver it to the seller, who will apply the discount on the purchase.
Being the fund limited to 50 million euros, it is advisable to request the voucher as soon as the system will be operational, in order not to risk that the funds are exhausted.
The bonus will be valid only for purchases made after activating the platform: those who have already bought an appliance before will therefore not be able to use it.
