September, end of summer? Not exactly. If it is true that rains scattered in the North-West are expected today, while in the center you will make a way of the glazes. But starting from Wednesday 3 September the meteorological framework will change decisively. An anticyclonic comeback will bring the sun back on most of the peninsula, inaugurating a more stable time phase. In the north the temperatures will remain pleasant without excesses, while at the center-south you can perceive a real African flame. This dynamic will make September a “two-sided” month: on one side sunny and hot days, on the other sudden returns of rains and fresher climate, especially in the center-north.
The peak on the weekend of 6-7 September
The highlight of this anticyclonic parenthesis will arrive between Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 September. You will live an authentic Settembrin summer, with values that will oscillate between 28 and 30 ° C in the center-north, while in the south there will be peaks of 33-34 ° C.
It will be a perfect weekend for those who want to enjoy the last days of summer without the great heat that has characterized the month of August. The sun will shine almost everywhere, the sky will remain serene or not very cloudy and the air will be drier and more breathable thanks to less humidity.
A taste of autumn after September 8th
Stability, however, will not last long. From Monday 8 September the models report a possible “double attack”: perturbations arriving from both east and west could report rains, temporals and hail. The temperatures will drop towards values more in line with the seasonal average, returning to Italy a more autumn climate. September, therefore, is confirmed as a dynamic month: after a few days of sunshine and pleasant heat, it will be time to open the umbrellas.
