The legendary Radioheads have finally announced their return to the European stages, marking the first live tour since 2018. Fans will be able to see the British group performing in five large cities: Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin, with dates between November and December this year. The news comes after years of solo activity of the members, between albums and parallel projects such as The Smile by Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood.
The group will offer residences of four consecutive evenings in each city, with the aim of reducing the problems related to bots and tussks. Most of the tickets will be intended for fans who live near concerts, while a share will be reserved for those traveling from the inside or outside Europe. To ensure a more equitable distribution, it will be necessary to pre-register on the band’s official website, providing name, email, telephone number and cities of residence.
Support for beneficial initiatives
In addition to the concerts, Radiohead has decided to insert an additional contribution on tickets: £ 1 in the United Kingdom in support of the live trust and € 1 in Europe in favor of Médecins Sans Frontières, with the band that will double the collection of collected. A way to unite music and social commitment, supporting both the smaller clubs and global health emergencies.
Future perspectives
Despite the enthusiasm, however, the Tour 2025 does not guarantee a new album. According to the drummer Philip Selway: “For now only these dates will be but who knows where all this will bring us”. Attention therefore remains on live performances, without anticipating further record projects.
