The girl with the forest in Montagner’s head reminds us that the harmony between man and nature is possible and precious

Diego Montagner returns to be talked about with a new work of poetic and visionary street art. This time, the protagonist of the mural is a child with a dreamy gaze, who brings a very special hat to the head: a wooded landscape, luxuriant and alive, as if nature lived his thoughts.

The work was carried out on a wall of a house in Ospedaletto di Istrana, and draws inspiration from the surrounding environment. In particular, Montagner wanted to pay homage to the planters and saplings positioned on the roof by Mr. Bruno, the owner of the house, a great lover of nature. Struck by that unusual and fascinating disposition, the artist decided to transform it into the “vegetable hat” of his new female figure, thus merging art, reality and imagination.

It is not the first time that Montagner chooses female subjects for his murals: just remember the famous little girl who embraces the earth with a melancholy gaze, or that portrayed in a field of ears with a basket in the hands.

Or again, the young woman who repairs from the rain under a red umbrella, and the ethereal figure of the “spring” created for the municipality of Vidor.

With this new work, Diego Montagner continues to tell stories through walls and colors, mixing dream, nature and humanity.
