It looks like a normal silicone bottle, but behind the compact and folding design of the Flexflow is hidden much more: a water filtration system tested in the laboratory, capable of eliminating viruses, bacteria, parasites and even microplastic. A technology that comes from China and that, launched in crowdfunding on Kickstarter, has collected over 100,000 euros in a few days, against an initial goal of only 845 euros. This is because it is practical, light, functional and has everything for pleasure to those who love life in the open air but want to drink safely.
Campeters, hikers, sportsmen or simple travelers: anyone who finds drinking water from unreliable sources can find a valid and pocket ally in the Flexflow. The water bottle has a capacity of 776 ml, is made of compressible silicone and contains a nanoflex filter combined with a 0.1 micron cave microsmbrane micro-membrane. In practice, it blocks 99.999% of the pathogens present in the water, including viruses, bacteria and protozoa, as well as reducing chlorine, smells and impurities.
The cartridge is reusable and can be removed, clean or easily replaced. There is no need to pump, nor wait: just exercise light pressure to pass the water through the filter and drink it immediately, without risk.
And the design? Simple but intelligent: the cap is inspired by the beak of a woodpecker to facilitate the flow, while the silicone body folds over itself to occupy the slightest space when it is empty.
Three different ways of use, one goal
Flexflow works in three configurations designed to adapt to any type of activity:
It is not a simple bottle, but a complete hydration system, designed to be used several times, without producing waste, and with a filter that can be replaced when needed.
Oassay, the Chinese startup that designed Flexflow, made the product test from independent and accredited workshops, such as SGS, to verify its real efficacy. The result is a safe and functional bottle, which can also make turbid and contaminated water drinking, using a flexible 3D filter material born in the laboratory.
For this, in addition to the success on Kickstarter, Flexflow also won the Golden Pin Design Award 2025. On the crowdfunding platform, you can buy the filter bottle starting from 66 euros, in the Super Early Bird version that includes:
An affordable price for an object that can make the difference on the go or in nature.
