Amazing Nicole Orlando! Gold medal and world record for her in the javelin throw at the Virtus World Athletics Championships 2025

The Italian flag is still flying high thanks to Nicole Orlando, today gold medal with world record in the javelin throw at the Virtus World Athletics Championships underway in Brisbane (Australia) with the measurement of 19.29 meters.

The competition is a world athletics championship for the Paralympic categories II1, II2 and II3, including youth, organized this year by Sports Inclusion Australia, and has been ongoing since last October 8th until the 15th of the month.

AND Nicole Orlandoan athlete with Down syndrome whose medals are now countless, today is once again on top of the world in the javelin throw, also setting the world record in the category.

Good morning with the new world record in the javelin m. 7.29pm – writes the champion on her Facebook page – I want to thank my coaches Maurizio and Vittorio, my teammates from Pro Patria ARC Busto Arsizio, my trainer Jacopo from Gymnastics La Marmora Biella, and all of you followers who believe in me and give me so much strength.
