After days of rumors, the official announcement has arrived from Carlo Conti: Pilar Fogliati will be co-host of the second evening of the Sanremo Festival, scheduled for Wednesday 25 February, alongside the artistic director and Laura Pausini. Alongside her also Achille Lauro and Lillo, completing a co-hosting quartet destined to provide irony and dynamism.
The protagonists of the Suzuki Stage
The announcement was made live on radio at PennicanceFiorello’s program, and it’s not the only one. In fact, Conti also revealed the cast of the Suzuki Stage, which will see alternating Gaia, Blush, The Kolors, Francesco Gabbani and a special participation of Pooh, who will receive a plaque to celebrate their 60 years of career.
Who is Pilar Fogliati, from the film scene to the Festival
Born in 1992, Pilar Fogliati was born in Alessandria and grew up in Rome. Her training at the Silvio D’Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts allows her to hone a unique mix of comic instinct and dramatic precision, qualities that have made her one of the most interesting actresses on the contemporary scene.

Conti also took the opportunity to clarify some indiscretions: although she will be the co-host on the evening of Thursday 26 February, the one which originally would have featured Andrea Pucci, the top model Irina Shayk will not replace the comedian. However, the Sanremo situation is not yet closed, as Conti specified. The artistic director has in fact made it known that there are still some super guests and other final surprises missing.
