The Moon-Saturn “kiss” finally returns to our skies, let’s not miss it!

There evening of February 19th let’s not make commitments, the spectacle of the “kiss” Moon – Saturn. The event, not very rare, but always fascinating, could also be seen with the naked eye (weather permitting), but, to better admire the details, we still recommend at least a good pair of binoculars. Don’t miss it!

As the UAI explains, on the evening of February 19, among the lights of twilight, we will be able to observe the thin crescent of the crescent Moon near Saturn, in the constellation of Pisces. Lower, on the western horizon, it will also be possible to notice Mercury and Venus (on the map sky of February 19, 2026 at approximately 7.00 pm).

The sky is preparing for the great parade of planets expected at the end of the month which, although not a real alignment, will still be an event not to be missed.

Happy viewing!
