The timeless charm of Audrey Hepburn is about to return to the big screen, but this time in a new guise: that of the making of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Playing the Old Hollywood icon will be Lily Collins, called upon to capture not only Hepburn’s grace and elegance, but also the tensions, challenges and curiosities behind the making of one of the most famous films of all time.
Warning: it will not be a sequel as many may mistakenly think. The project comes to life from the adaptation of Sam Wasson’s bestseller, Fifth Avenue, 5 AM: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the Dawn of the Modern Womanconsidered the most complete account of the genesis of the 1961 film. The aim is to tell the New York of the late 1950s, between the sets, the costumes designed by Edith Head, and the dynamics between the director Blake Edwards, the writer Truman Capote and Hepburn herself, exploring how Holly Golightly has become a symbol of style and femininity.
