On the night between 10 and 11 July we will not only have the Moon – Mars “kiss”, an unmissable spectacle in itself, but the “kiss” Moon – Mars immersed in the Pleiades: let’s not miss this wonderful show that heaven will offer us for free. Weather permitting, that will be all visible to the naked eye!
As the UAI explains, before dawn on July 11, on the eastern horizon, we will see the Pleiades and the thin waning crescent Moon rise, followed by the planet Mars and the star Aldebaran, in the constellation of Taurus (in the map the sky of July 11, 2026 at approximately 4.00 am).

There Moon – Mars conjunction it is one of the most visible shows ever if the sky is clear, and it will be clear this time too, despite our satellite being close to the New phase (expected on July 14).
The Pleiadesthen – we know – they are a spectacle even on their own: in fact the star cluster, far from sources of light pollution, shows us up to 12 stars and in any case, if the weather is kind, it is not difficult to count 4 or 5 even in the city.
