The Carta Dedicated to You, the support measure intended for families with greater economic difficulties, will also return in 2026. For the fourth consecutive year the government confirms the 500 euro contribution, which can be used for the purchase of basic food items, with particular attention to products from Italian supply chains and PDO and PGI excellences.
The implementing decree for 2026 was published in recent months, while the sums will be available on paper starting from November 4th. A new edition of the measure for 2027 was also confirmed, with accreditations expected from April.
As in previous years, the contribution will be loaded directly onto the Poste Italiane prepaid electronic card.
Additional 15% discount in participating supermarkets
Also for 2026 the Ministry of Agriculture has renewed the agreements with various large-scale retail chains. Holders of the Card Dedicated to You will be able to take advantage of an additional 15% discount, which can be combined with promotions already active in participating stores.
The organizations involved include the main distribution companies, including Federdistribuzione, ANCC Coop, ANCD Conad and Lidl.
Who can receive the Card Dedicated to You
The contribution is intended for families who meet certain requirements:
For the period 2026-2027, approximately 1,177,597 cards are expected to be assigned, identified through the procedures managed by INPS and ANCI together with the Municipalities.
There is no need to apply
To obtain the Card Dedicated to You it is not necessary to send any request. The beneficiaries are automatically selected based on the available data, which is why it is essential to have an updated ISEE.
Anyone who already has a card from previous years will be able to continue using it: the new amount will be credited to the same medium. Those who will receive the benefit for the first time will be able to collect the card at the post offices after notification from the Municipality.
First purchase by December 16, 2026
In order not to lose the contribution, it is necessary to make the first purchase by 16 December 2026. Failure to activate it by this date will result in the benefit being forfeited.
Once activated, the sum can be used within the period established by law, until the available amount is exhausted.

For the two-year period 2026-2027 the resources allocated amount to approximately one billion euros. Since the debut of the measure in 2023, the total funds allocated to the Card Dedicated to You have reached approximately 2.7 billion euros.
