Let’s not miss a beautiful appointment that we haven’t seen for some time, the “kiss” Moon – Saturn. The romantic conjunction will be high in the sky on the evening of October 24which could also be – weather permitting – visible to the naked eye, although, to better observe the details of the Lord of the Rings, we recommend using at least good binoculars. We don’t miss out!
As the UAI explains, after a series of conjunctions visible only in the last hours of the night, on the evening of October 24th we will finally be able to admire a meeting at an accessible time. In fact, as darkness falls, and for the rest of the night, it will be possible to observe the moon in the constellation of Pisces near the planet Saturn in the constellation of the Whale (on the map il sky of October 24, 2026 at approximately 9.00 pm).

Our satellite will be almost in flood stagebecause the splendid Hunter’s Moon is scheduled for October 26th, therefore very bright (weather permitting) and the Lord of the Rings it is theoretically visible even with the naked eye, although it is best observed with binoculars or a small telescope.
Happy viewing!
