Time machines: in Turin the immersive exhibition dedicated to the universe and its secrets opens

It is titled “Time machines” the immersive exhibition that Until 2 June 2025, At Ogr Torino, he offers visitors the extraordinary opportunity to explore the universe and his mysteries. A journey that leads to discover the new frontiers of modern astrophysics, also told through the lives and discoveries of those who have contributed to writing the most important pages of science, including many Italians.

The exhibition itinerary, led by the “light”, starts from our planet and develops on a fascinating journey from the sun system to the extreme borders of the universe, crossing planets, stars, galaxies and galactic clusters, to finally reach the primordial universe. The path therefore turns into a real art gallery, where the wonders of the cosmos are told through images captured by telescopes and the most advanced scientific tools.

Interactive installations allow visitors to live an immersive and sensorial experience: playing with gravity and experimenting with the behavior of light through reflection and refraction. An experience designed for everyone, adults and children, who can discover astrophysics from an innovative and engaging point of view.

The exhibition also stands out for its inclusivenessoffering -Tactile representations of the astronomical observations and the telescopes that have made them, feelings of the data that allow you to “feel” the images, the audio descriptions of the environments and content, guided tours and events with interpreting in LIS -, specifies the official website.

Next to the immersive experience, there are numerous workshops and popular events, including meetings with prominent figures in the scientific panorama, such as the Nobel Prize for Physics Michel Mayor, but also scientific aperitifs and shows.

The exhibition, created thanks to the contribution of the Astrophysical Inf-Observatory of Turin, will remain open until June 2, 2025.
