New recall by the Ministry of Health, this time it concerns a batch of buffalo burgers from the Gran Selezione line by Famiglia Ambrosini: salmonella was found in the product.
The recalled product
The notice is dated September 24, 2026 and was released by Ambrosini Carni Srl, which produces and markets burgers under its own brand. The sales denomination is Buffalo burger – 170g skin.

There is only one batch affected, 7726019083, with three different expiry dates: 27, 28 and 29 September 2026. The packages weigh 170 grams. The burgers leave the factory in via San Domenico 62/64 in Brusaporto, in the province of Bergamo, identified by the IT 2874S UE brand.
Salmonella, the symptoms you need to know
Salmonella is among the bacteria most often responsible for food-borne infections. According to the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, the symptoms of salmonellosis (fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain) usually appear between 6 and 72 hours after the contaminated meal and generally last 4 to 7 days. In most cases, the infection resolves without hospitalization, while the most fragile categories, such as young children, the elderly and people with reduced immune defenses, risk more serious complications.
