The Granarolo Group has ordered the immediate withdrawal from the market of some batches of UHT milk intended for infants due to potential microbiological contamination. The food alert was disseminated through the official channels of the manufacturing company and the main large-scale retail chains.
Product involved
The recall concerns BF 2 UHT Milk from the Granarolo Bimbi line, a follow-on milk enriched with vitamin D intended for children aged 6 to 12 months. The product is made with high quality fresh milk from the Italian supply chain and packaged at the Soliera (Modena) factory in packs of two 500 ml bricks.
