The actor has in fact started the construction of a 22 million dollar village in Palmdale, California, intended for children inside the custody system. The peculiarity? The project aims to keep the brothers united that are often separated in foster families.

A more familiar welcome

According to the official declarations of AC Martin, the architects of the project, the village will be made up of 12 housing units, 2 apartments for young adults in transition outside the system and a community center of about 650 square meters, surrounded by green spaces for outdoor activity.

The project, which focuses on a more human and familiar welcome, also provides for the presence of professional foster parents, adequately trained to offer a stable and safe environment. It is estimated that the first children will be welcomed by 2026.

A commitment that arises from afar

Bale’s involvement in the theme of custody is not recent. The actor approached the cause in 2008, reflecting on what would happen to his children in the event of family tragedies. Since then he has maintained a confidential but active profile, until he designed this village that many users on social media have defined “A real bat-cata for vulnerable children”.

In a world where ads often remain on paper, Christian Bale shows that even in Hollywood you can make a difference with the facts, not only with roles.
