Day of disruption for social media. Reports of malfunctions and access problems are multiplying Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. As the site shows Downdetector (an online platform that monitors the status of various websites, digital services, apps and network operators in real time), the peak occurred shortly after 9am this morning.
Thousands of users from different parts of Italy reported it. The problem affects practically all apps managed by Half. The malfunctions are affecting both access from the PC and the smartphone and in some cases are intermittent, while on Whatsapp many are unable to receive or send messages.
What’s happening? At the moment Meta has not intervened on the cause of the inconveniences. All that remains is to wait for the problem to be resolved or to find out more.
