Paola Cortellesi’s film returns to prime time
“There’s Still Tomorrow”, the film directed and starring Paola Cortellesi, returns to television this evening, the film will be broadcast in prime time at 9.30pm on Rai 1 and will also be available in streaming on RaiPlay.
The plot of There’s Still Tomorrow
Set in Rome in 1946, the film tells the story of Delia, a woman who lives in a family marked by poverty, daily difficulties and the violence of her husband Ivano. Between menial jobs, sacrifices and the weight of the expectations of a patriarchal society, Delia seeks a way to change her life and offer a different future to her daughter.
Through its journey of awareness and redemption, “There’s Still Tomorrow” tells of the strength of women and the historical moment in which, for the first time, they were called to exercise the right to vote.
