The Ministry of Health has recently spread a food alert concerning a Lot of vegetable miniburgers with broccoli, carrots and zucchini of the Kioene brand. The problem for which the withdrawal from the product market was necessary is linked to the labeling, not to microbiological risks or contamination, but it is still a detail not to be underestimated for the protection of the consumer.
All the details of the product mentioned
The interested miniburgers belong to the Lot number 256093669with Expiry date set for July 15, 2025. The product is sold in packs of 200 grams and is found in large retailers in chains such as Coop, Esselunga, the giant and Tigros. The burgers are made in the Kioene Spa plant, located in via Caltana 43 in Villanova di Camposampiero, in the province of Padua.
The reason for the call, as we already announced, is a mistake in the labeling: The compulsory translation in Italian is missing. This absence makes the label not compliant with current legislation, which requires the presence of clear and legible information in the language of the country in which the product is sold.
Although the burgers are vegetable -based and do not present immediate health risks, the absence of precise indications can generate confusion in consumers, Especially for those with particular food needs or allergies.
The Ministry of Health therefore invites all consumers who have purchased the Kioene product belonging to this lot not to consume it. It is recommended to report the product to the store to obtain reimbursement or replacement with regularly labeled packs.
