Panorama Pozzuoli 2025
From 10 to 14 September 2025, Pozzuoli hosts Panoramathe fifth edition of the widespread exhibition signed by the Italics network. After Procida, Monopoli, L’Aquila and Monferrato, this time the project returns to Campania, in the mythical heart of the Flegrei fields. Curated by Chiara Parisi, director of the Center Pompidou -Metz, the exhibition investigates the theme of divinization through a path that combines myth, art and contemporaneity.
Art between ruins, volcano and legend
The route unfolds between symbolic places: the land district with its historical stratifications, the amphitheater Flavio, the temple of Serapide, the Solfatara and the Lake Averno – places that for millennia intertwine nature, history and myth. Churches, underground galleries, panoramic terraces and archaeological vestiges become stages of an urban and mythological promenade.
Divinization – The common thread
Parisi speaks clearly: «In Pozzuoli you can speaks’ with the gods. Divinization is not just a theme … it is a question that traces the whole history of this territory “. The idea is to question the sacred that has always been and wondering today: who we divine? And why, in the era of images.
News and collateral initiatives
Among the unpublished initiatives: a Flea Market d’Artista, an exhibition dedicated to San Gennaro, inclusive activities with schools and associations, workshops and mediative courses in the area (Exibart.com). And then a debate on volcanoes as a metaphor – not only natural but symbolic – of the continuous cycle of creation and destruction.
Organized by over 60 Italics galleries, Panorama Pozzuoli It makes ancient art, contemporary art and landscape dialogue: not only exhibition, but cultural ecosystem that involves citizenship, local institutions (such as the Mother Museum and the Archaeological Park of the Campania Campania Campania and the Municipality of Pozzuoli. The approach is collaborative, choral, far from a traditional exhibition.
Panorama Pozzuoli promises to put together remote past, urban space, volcanic nature and contemporary art in a dialogue without filters. Simple. Direct. Where art becomes collective story, and Pozzuoli stops being only a place to become a protagonist.
