In Brescia, an anonymous character has become viral known as Ghost Pitùr, who at night cleans up walls and deleted smeared with writings and graffiti. Armed only with roller and paint, intervenes when the city sleeps, restoring order to urban spaces and documenting any intervention with photos and videos. Anonymity is fundamental: during the day it leads a normal life, at night it becomes an invisible operator of civic cleaning.

Ghost Pitùr’s actions have therefore divided public opinion: some see them as active citizenship, others as an intrusion into the walls of all giving life to a wider debate on urban beauty, respect for commonplaces and on the right of citizens to decide what is lawful to leave or cancel.
