In Padua a mother decided to launch a very special invitation. His name is Giulia, and his son named R., a ten -year -old autistic boy, he turned the years on Sunday. To prevent her party from turning into a moment of solitude, the woman wrote a post on Facebook that touched the heart of the whole city.

Years of parties without anyone
Simple words, accompanied by smiling photos, which have unleashed a wave of unexpected solidarity. For years, at his holidays, almost no one presented himself. Giulia still remembers the time of the nursery school, when the celebrations were often empty.
The situation improved with the transfer to the Arcella district, a multicultural context where diversity was welcomed naturally: in the classroom, in fact, twelve languages are spoken and everyone is special in its own way. Unfortunately, however, due to various unexpected events, his companions had already made her know that this year they would not have been able to participate. And for the mother it would have been like going back, bringing old injuries back to light, also because the baby is starting to understand and to realize everything.
The choice not to surrender
Faced with this perspective, Giulia made a courageous decision: relying on the network.
