Get ready for an immersion in the world of scientific research with Science Week 2026, by Frascati Scienza. From 21 to 27 September, the great scientific festival returns which transforms laboratories and universities into spaces open to the public, involving 12 Italian cities in an exciting journey into knowledge. An unmissable event which, culminating in the European Night of Researchers on 25 September, pays particular attention to the themes of sustainability, the environment and climate challenges, crucial aspects that have always been close to our hearts.
A beating heart of dissemination in Frascati
Frascati confirms itself as the beating heart of this event, offering a very rich and entirely free programme. The mornings, at the Walls of Valadier and the Aldobrandini Stables, are dedicated to schools of all levels, with workshops that were sold out in just a few hours, demonstrating the enormous thirst for knowledge of the new generations. An encouraging sign for the future of scientific dissemination.
In the afternoons, from 21st to 24th September, from 5pm, the Walls of Valadier will open their doors to children, families and the curious. It will be a unique opportunity to explore:
The great evening shows in St. Peter’s Square
The culmination of the event will be on the evenings of Friday 25th and Saturday 26th September, when Piazza San Pietro in Frascati will be transformed into a large scientific stage. Among the most anticipated shows, On-stage disseminators they will see scientists and communicators sharing their passion for science. Don’t miss the performances that will deal with crucial environmental themes, such as animal climate adaptations and the sounds of nature at risk of disappearing, presented by the biologist Jacopo De Luca, and the fascinating stories of Cosmodogs And Astromonkeys by astrophysicist Alessandro Coletta, who will take us back to the origins of space exploration.
