Do you have hydrangeas in your garden? Have you ever thought about using dried flowers for decorative purposes? We assure you that they are beautiful and especially in autumn they exude a unique, vaguely retro charm. Find out how to use them to beautify your home.
Buckets with dried hydrangeas
Cut dried hydrangeas and place them inside some vintage buckets. You can alternate different flowers and embellish the buckets with string.
Garland
The advantage of a dried flower wreath is obviously its durability. There is no risk of hydrangeas wilting and if cared for properly, the garland could even last for years. How to make it?
Create a crown of intertwined branches and cover it with flowers, which will be tied with string. Alternatively you can try attaching them with a bit of hot glue, using the stem.
Outdoor decoration
In this case the dried hydrangeas were placed in a hanging basket, perfect as an outdoor decoration. However, be careful to place it in a sheltered place.
Painted dried hydrangeas
Another idea is to paint dried hydrangeas: even if you see a brush in the photo, we recommend dyeing them with a water-based spray paint. It’s much simpler!
Window decoration
Natural or spray-painted, dried hydrangeas are suitable for embellishing windows: just remove them, taking care to preserve the stem and hang them upside down in front of the window.
Vase with dried hydrangeas
The simplest idea? Cut them and put them in a nice vase.
