Find out how to decorate the Halloween table with recycled materials: you will amaze all the guests!

In view of October 31st, are you thinking of setting a Halloween themed table? In addition to favoring the typical colors of the party, from black to purple through a touch of orange, it is worth carefully studying all the elements that will embellish it. Details make the difference!

The great thing is that you most likely already have everything you need at home (but you don’t know it yet). With the most varied recycled materials, from scraps of fabric to leftover cardboard, you will be able to set the entire table. You’ll see what a show!

Centerpiece with decorated lantern

Do you have a black lantern? Use it as a centerpiece, but first personalize it with a Halloween-themed paper cutout. Proceed like this:

Alternatively, if you can use the cutter and the carving mat, you could create a design to apply to the glass of the lantern, alternating empty and full spaces.

Black cardboard placeholder

The idea of a black cardboard placeholder is beautiful (and very simple): trace the shape of a bat, cut it out with scissors, write the guest’s name on it and stick the bat between the tines of a fork.

Cardboard toothpick

Do you have any sheets of black, white, purple or orange construction paper left over? Draw Halloween themed shapes on them: skulls, witch hats, bats, spiders and more. Cut them out with scissors and stick them on the toothpicks you will use for the appetizers.

Painted leaves

To give a Halloween touch to the table, we recommend painting some autumn leaves black and white. Just add eyes and a mouth on the white leaves to transform them into delightful ghosts, while sharp eyes and teeth (to be traced with the white permanent marker) will transform the black leaves into scary vampires.

Spider-shaped napkin holder

Cardboard spiders are ideal to use as napkin holders, if you then combine them with a spiderweb-shaped placemat the great impression is guaranteed.

Spiderweb-shaped chargers

Combined with a spider web-shaped charger, the napkin ring spider is at its best. You can make the underplate with cardboard or better yet with a sheet of black felt, which will be cut with the cutter, removing the spaces marked as “empty”.

Alternatively, rely on black fabric: draw a spider web on it, cut it out, sew the edges. Use white thread to sew the spider and the insides of the web.
