How to Get There

Reaching the Tartare Waterfall is an adventure that begins in the Comunacque area. From here, take a dirt road that initially goes up and then reaches the river, skirting it. The springs are located on the opposite side of the river from the road, so there are two options for getting there.

The first option is to wade into the river, which is quite shallow at this point, with the water reaching just below your knees. This method is only recommended for those who are prepared and have the appropriate equipment to cross a watercourse.
The second option is to continue along the road to the Ponte delle Tavole. Once you cross the bridge, you go back to the other side of the river until you reach the springs.
