Not only crystal clear sea and white beaches, the Seychelles can also be, paradoxically, the worst place for animals to live.

This is the case of the Aldabra giant tortoises, above all, but also of the dogs or fruit bats, all left at the mercy of tourist greed.

The plight of the Aldabra giant tortoises, confined to small and inadequate spaces, deprived of the richness of their natural habitat, is a cause for grave concern. Such conditions are detrimental to their health, well-being and natural behavior. We urge the government and the competent authorities to take immediate and effective measures to remedy this situation, write from the Eticoscienza Association which launched a petition.
