Wine&Bike 2025: autumn is the perfect time to sip wine while cycling through the vineyards of Alto Adige

Imagine the clink of a glass of Gewürztraminer meeting the silent hiss of a bike between rows of golden vineyards: this is the enchantment of “wine meets bike”, a concept that transforms wine tourism into a sustainable, zero-emission and slow-paced adventure. In Alto Adige, where the hills of the Wine Route are tinged with red and gold, this embrace between pedals and Pinot Noir is not just poetry, but a green philosophy: cycling to discover organic wineries, tasting freshly harvested grapes, admiring the foliage and breathing in a territory that exudes harmony with nature. Launched this year by the Alto Adige Wine Consortium in collaboration with IDM Südtirol, the Wine&Bike Alto Adige Collection project embodies this union perfectly, offering eight thematic itineraries downloadable from the Komoot app, perfect for autumn 2025 which is already in full swing.

Cycling among flavours: itineraries that combine taste and sweet mobility

At the heart of this concept is the slow discovery of the territory: routes suitable for everyone, which pass through over 100 wineries and promote ethical viticulture, from the vine to the glass. And for a personalized touch, the Bike Wine Ambassadors – expert cycling and wine guides – accompany you in small groups, transforming a ride into an outdoor wine masterclass. Fewer cars, more biodiversity and a real gem for those who love the mountains in autumn with its mild temperatures, its warm colors and the light that lights up the landscapes like a liquid sunset.
