A reflection on workers forced to emigrate

The series maintains the typical style of Ficarra and Picone, with light comedy but also social criticism. Main themes include commuter difficulties, internal migration and family dynamics during the holidays. The magical portal becomes a pretext to ironically talk about the problems of everyday life and the small follies that arise in extreme situations.

Behind the laughter, Sicily Express it also offers a look at the reality of Sicilian transport, ironically denouncing the difficulties and long odysseys that many commuters face every year to reach their families.

A clever way to combine entertainment and social observation, making you smile but also reflect.
